Hallie Tarpley exists.   

Hallie Tarpley is a content creator and producer that specializes in finding creative ways to merge the worlds of traditional and digital media. She began her career washing dishes in the studio test kitchen of Food & Wine Magazine in Birmingham, Alabama and has worked her way up to her current position as a digital producer/writer for The Drew Barrymore Show in New York.

With a passion for how each step of production can enhance a product, she has worked in almost area of digital production from running camera to pitching to editing and producing. She has extensive experience in producing sold content to bring in additional revenue streams to linear media.

In her free time she likes re-watching Gilmore Girls, pretending to like exercise and writing about herself in the 3rd person because it makes her feel back-of- the-book-flap fancy as hell. 

As for scripted work, she is the recipient of the Holle Screenwriting Award for the feature script The Queens. She was the writer, creator, and director of the webseries "Knit Night" that premiered as part of the Birmingham Comedy Festival and screened at the 20th Annual Sidewalk Film Festival.  In 2015, she was awarded the Campus Movie Fest Best Actress Award, and the 2016 & 2015 Campus Movie Fest Jury Awards for sketch comedy shorts.
